1. 24/22 for sure. We need a to open a doorway out of dodge. With the ace, slotting could well be right, say 6/5, with the idea of unstacking and duplicating.

On the other hand, we are up in the race, and don't want to get hit. So advancing all the way 24/21 could well be right too.

Even though we are down in the race, I like taking a chance now with 24/22, 6/5. We stay back on the 3-point when he'd rather make the 4-point. We take a chance on developing our offense before it's too late.

2. 21/20*, 21/17. Leaving the 2-point, 23/19, opens up 3-1 as a horror roll but also gives him 1-1 as a joker. Besides, we don't need a second checker to win this game. I think out priority is outfield containment, so I flood the outfield with maximum diversification. 21/20*, 21/17.

3. I believe, 4 off, best case, is about 16% to win. So White doesn't need to add too many extra weird win scenarios to take. Most of those will be when Blue doesn't cover and White immediately pops a 3, or Blue covers with a 4 and White uncorks 1-6 from the air. I suppose some of these wins will even be gammons, so perhaps White can take deeper. So my gut says Redouble/ Take but I don't like it and drop anyway.
