Trailer invariably wins at the Crawford

In the Crawford game, a gammon is either very valuable to the trailer or hardly worth anything at all. At -1,-2 a single win gives 50% MWC and a gammon win gives 100% - that's a big deal! At -1,-3 a gammon win does nothing at all except cost the leader his free drop in the next game.
If a gammon doesn't matter to either player then the result should be 50/50, although in practice there's likely a bias to the leader as the leader is more likely to be the superior player. If only the trailer cares about the gammon then I agree with you he should win a little less than 50%.
