Hi, Casper! That is 100% correct! The most important question that everytime discussed in connection with backgammon tournaments promoting in any country around the world: you roll the dice - this game can not be a game of skill! In case BG-society decide to promote all BG-tournaments with the Fair Backgammon Tournament Rules, that included the duplication of rolls as a necessary part, then we become the possibility to be recognize as a game of skill according to formal characteristics identical used in bridge. International Mind Sport Assotiation can decide in this case about acceptation of Backgammon like the same kind of Intellectual Games happened for chess, checkers, bridge and go.
