1. 8/2*; 24/22. This gets the back checkers moving, hits, takes advantage of our better board & takes away half of White's roll.

2. 13/8;13/9. Blue is so far down in the race here that he can only hope to get hit, make a double anchor & hit a shot as White is bearing in. All other plays look too stodgy to me.

3. 15/11; 21/18. I think this is preferred over 21/14 which gives White good 2's & 3s. Otherwise, these numbers play rather poorly for him.
