Three types of play: wait (9/4 and similar plays), attack (5/1* 9/8 and similar plays) and break (14/9 and similar plays). I think the attacking plays help XG to keep its timing while getting hit back may not be pleasant, so let's scratch that. Between waiting plays and breaking, I don't know. It is not clear that white can keep the midpoint contact and keep the board, so that argues for waiting, and in addition on the next roll we may run past the mid; on the other hand, currently white's board is vulnerable and likely will improve next turn. I don't like leaving a lot of blots here, because I don't want to get a cube with blots around when things go sour. So I am down to 14/9 and 9/4. And now I am stuck, because I don't know what to do. OK, let's pick 14/9 because I need to pick one and no vote for that play yet.
My play: 14/9
