7/1 and 24/18 to start. Do we want to stay to pick up more blots? Yes, that leaves 5 shots, and otherwise a lot of shots on additional blots and a chance for a gammon. So either 24/18 7/1 (2) 9/3 or 24/18 7/1 9/3(2). Then I believe the purer play more often results in a close-out, and allows a more efficient and safe bear-off, while posing little additional risk immediately (52 is duped), so I'd take the purer of the two alternatives.

My vote: 24/18 9/3(2) 7/1.
