I know wastage for 12 checker closeout is 10. Blue should be slightly better than that. I'll say 9.8. I had white's as a ref at one time. I think it is betwwen 13.5 and 14 and will guess 13.7. Before using the usual race results an adjustment for thr lower variance is called for and i have found that an extra pip is about right. So i think of it as being like a 5 pip lead with a 50 pip count. DT
