Pottle buster?

Pottle's law, as I understand it, primarily applies to a single straggler, and not to a situation where you're considering running off an anchor. I believe that all of Stick's positions in his article on Pottle's law fall into this category.
Here I'd be pretty surprised if 24/16 is best. The hungry stripped 8pt and the overloaded midpoint strongly incline me to play 13/8 with the 5, and the only question is whether to play 24/21 or 13/10. 24/21 is great when it works and it's the first thing I'd consider, though I know I have a tendency to split even when it's too dangerous to do so. I think I wouldn't split here for a couple of reasons: (1) Black hasn't made his bar point yet, so we're not too hemmed in yet; (2) Black has a stronger board and is marginally ahead in the race, so he'd rather attack than get into a priming battle.
I'd play 13/10 13/8.
