Hi,
if i could choose i would like white to cover rather than escape or hit, The safest move 13/9 3/1 makes it impossible for white to escape completely, the hit-risk is small (6/36) with a third return, making the risk effectively 4/36. So white will probably cover a blot behind my anchor.
And that all will cost me only the wasting of an already not so well placed checker.
When white will play the next move with his front checkers, and he throws a medium or higher move, his position will get overstretched. Keeping the 4,5 and 6 blocked will help to make that happen.
How about blue's next move?
with 4's (except 41) i will cover 9
the 1's don't play well from the midpoint,
but 41, 51, 61 hit and cover
63, 52 make a point
all doubles play well
That's 24/36 reasonable to good moves
now the bad moves:
31 (to the 9) 65 (to the 9?) 62 and 32 (1 point?) 21 (13/11 9/8) 53 (6/1 13/10)
