0.1 of a pip is the difference but in what direction, take or pass? Do flat pip v pip positions REALLY have low variance?? Do "Half-Gaps" mess with the variance? A Half-Gap is a single checker on any given point. They are a little more than 2/3 of a gap. Should fewer checkers REALLY be a factor? I have found that the value of gaps vary from one position to the next. They are seldom static.
