Nackgammon Shuffle (NGS): quick setup Each player rolls two different-colored dice to his right and sets up the checkers on that half of the board. Reroll doublets.
Home Board half: Position two two-checker anchors on Black's (Dark's) far side according to the two dice (1 = on White's 1pt, 2 = on White's 2pt, etc.). For NG300 only, reroll a 6.
NG300: Put a White (Light) four-checker stack on the 6pt. Or
NG450: Put a four-checker stack on the 4pt, 5pt or 6pt: the highest one still vacant. Or
NG900: Put a four-checker stack on
........(a) the 4pt, 5pt or 6pt if only one of those is vacant. Or
........(b) If two of those points are vacant, reroll one die: 1 2 3 = lower point; 4 5 6 = higher point. Or
........(c) If all three high points are vacant: 1 2 = 4pt; 3 4 = 5pt; 5 6 = 6pt.Outfield half: Place a four-checker stack on Black's far side, according to the dark-colored die, where 1 = bar point... 6 = midpoint. Similarly place a three-checker stack on Black's near side according to the light-colored die.
Place the remaining checkers (four Black and eleven White) so that they mirror the checkers already set up.
