1. After 5/4*(2), we have a few choices. 6/5(2) gives White a 66 joker and 12/10 gives White a 55 joker. 3/2(2) leaves no return shots. However, I would play 12/10 to try to get our last straggler home. White is currently on the bar so coming closer now is relatively safe. If we play 3/2(2) and White comes in then it may not be so easy to clean up next time.

2. The choice seems to be between 7/4 6/5 which leaves no immediate blotting rolls, and 7/5 6/5(2) which blots on 65 and 63 but which prepares to clear the 6pt. Either way we're playing 7/5 6/5 and then have to choose between 6/5 and 5/4 for the last 1. I prefer "paying now" with 7/5 6/5(2) since we're eventually going to have to clear the 6pt and the sooner we do so the better, while White's board is still weak and while White may be on the bar.

3. I've stared at this a while and can't see the issue here. I'm sure I'd just play 23/22 18/16 OTB.
