If you want to factor in the skill difference adjusted gammon and bg values against the stronger player shouldn't that be done against the weaker player also?
Yes, but your first question was only the MCG type question so I didn't want to type a book to something you seemed to only want an outline of. From my own experience there is a lot more piss away equity in these types of positions for the weaker player that more than compensates for the decrease in gammon value for the stronger player. The weaker play will not only drop insanely takeable cubes because of how the game has been flowing but in the rare instances the game is actually played out we still have the weaker player playing it out instead of the bot.
If you want to factor in that the weaker player may make a cube error shouldn't you also factor in that against the stronger player it is more likely to be us to make a cube error this game?
No, the bot has no idea it is playing a weaker player - we know we are playing a stronger player.

A big fan of playing on in general.
