Belated congratulations to Mr. Neil Kazaross, who won 29 consecutive tournament matches in 1999!
Hard to believe, but it has now been almost two years since Mr. David Reuben was kind enough to make a post on this site informing us that Neil has the biggest ---- in all of backgammon. I am not sure how David knows this, but I am very sure that I do not want to learn how he knows it.
I am posting six reference postions below for Neil and anyone else who wants to waste his time and his life studying backgammon. Wish someone who has a computer would roll these out. Would not take long at all. My excuse? My computer quit working, so I threw it out and now I no longer have a computer.
In all six positions, Blue is on roll with an ace shot. To the uninitiated, it might appear that Blue's chance of hitting is 11/36. However, in the real world, Blue's chance of hitting is somewhat less than 11/36 because a three-part parlay must occur in order for Blue to hit: (1) Blue rolls an ace, (2) Blue notices he can hit and (3) Blue decides it is correct to hit.
