1. We don't really want White to make more points in our home board, so 6/1* is worth considering. The spares on the 6pt are out of play anyway so 6/1* doesn't really take a checker out of play. On the other hand, using the 4 to play 13/9 is tempting, since I think we do want to make it harder for White to recirculate checkers freely. If we do play 13/9 then we can either play 21/20* to gain a tempo to escape the back checker, or the quiet 8/7 so as not to give White the opportunity to make a third backgame point. I'll try 13/9 8/7 because I'd rather not give White a sixth checker back before we make another home-board point. We might regret it if our straggler gets trapped but I don't think the danger of that is too great yet.
2. 13/11* 13/7 is the obvious play. An alternative is 9/7 9/3 trying to avoid getting another checker sent back now that White has a semblance of a prime developing, but it seems premature to give up the four-prime. 13/11* 13/7.
3. 13/8 is the obvious safe play, but it doesn't do anything to improve our flexibility. 14/11 13/11 looks more flexible but it does leave a direct shot, and although White's forward position doesn't look that threatening yet, we'd rather not get another checker sent back. Flexibility is important when playing against an advanced double anchor but I think I'd still chicken out with 13/8.
