Cube action after I pay ??

GNU clearly doesn't cube in the rollout does it since then wouldn't cubeful and cubeless figures obtained be the same ?

However 2 ply eval does cube ! How is 2 ply eval cubing on GNU's turn but not cubing in the rollout ?

OTB I never considered that I could be cubed if I payed only 5 shots and if I had I would have correctly felt that Bill wouldn't have even thought of it.
