1. 24/16 of course. Oh wait a minute... :-) If we hit on the 5pt then surely we should hit twice since it's fewer return shots. So that leaves us with three candidates: hitting twice with 8/5* 6/1*, hitting only on the 1pt with 16/13 6/1*, or hitting nothing with 16/8. At a normal score I would hit twice because not only do we not want White to anchor on our 5pt, it should also win a nice share of gammons. At DMP I'm not so sure. Hitting twice gives White 20 rolls to hit a blot and set us back in the race, which is our main asset here. Still, destroying White's slot and trying to build our board should also help us win games. I would try the double hit.
2. Here's another case where I would hit with 11/2* for money but where I'm not sure if that's better than a quiet play like 20/11 or 23/14 or 23/20 11/5. But letting White anchor must increase White's winning chances so I'm going to try 11/2* anyway.
3. Seems like the choice is between paying now with 13/12 13/10 or paying later with 5/2 3/2 or 5/1. White has good timing and her board is getting stronger. We're running out of time and are quite likely to have to pay soon anyway. These factors argue for paying now. On the other hand, paying now doesn't solve our problems, because we'll still have outside points to clear. That usually argues for paying later. I would pay now, though, because paying later weakens our board. 13/12 13/10.
