Many of blue's good rolls are above the 0.75 threshold. In fact, they outweigh white's good rolls by a little more than 2/1; an indication that white's recube efficiency is likely to be lower and that, she will fall short of the 25% she needs, D/P. Boring!!!!!

Lets cut to the chase; the real reason why I posted this position. It is my belief, that the harmfulness of a gap is proportional to the maximum value of a pip in a short race. I will give anyone my entire Des O'Connor collection (which happens to be zero) if you can estimate to within 0.1 of a pip the harmfulness of the 5 and 4pt gaps.
