I'd say that it is not classy for someone new to GG who has a much lower than realistic rating to insist that the match be played rated.

That being said, I play those players rated anyhow and just take my chances and my rating is probably 20 or 25 pts lower as a result but who cares? ie playing 1850 strength players with 1600 ratings costs tons when you lose and you gain very little for a win.

However, a couple of new players have asked me to play unrated and I happily oblige.
