Your idea of paying the losing semifinalist on the bottom half of the draw is creative and should work. I think the main question is whether the director wants to pay six places to 37 players. If she doesn't, I believe the scheduling issue can be addressed by modifying the consolation feed.

Since your record is 4-1 in a 37 player field, it's both reasonable and feasible to feed you directly into the consolation semifinals. The other losing main flight semifinalist and the player you beat in the fourth round (both 3-1) would feed into the round of 8. This would shorten your path by a round and allow you to go to bed at 11:15.
