OT - Poker Fail

I am no poker player and i watched the video.

What i understood is that Freitaz first said raise and then said he meant call.

I know that raise means that he offers to bet more money.

And calling means: let's show the cards for the money on the table.

But i don't see the trick in this, why is it different from when he had said call, in the first place.

Can someone explain me in non-poker terms.
