OT - Poker Ethics?

First, there is a difference between morals and ethics. Second: Moral is for me a higly infectious subject, which you should only touch with a pincer. Legitimacy is reached through proceedings, based on a set of rules. Moral is a common behaviour in a social system, but not fixed and so not exactly reproducible. Appealing for „moral“ is a hint for bad rules.
And, did anyone read Watzlawik/Beaver/Jackson on human communication? You can't not communicate. Even no answer will give some information, at least on a non-verbal level. And every communication is seeking for information. So the question from Hellmuth was a trial to get information, i think. And later, whimping for moral, was the attempt to exploit moral. Moral is a sticky thing. Try to make your rules as good as possible. Have a referee, who has the last word. But don't let moral get a place on the driver seat.
