I think I understand the all in business better now. It is like playing 2a 2a as though it is DMP even before the cube is turned.

I am way more confused than before though about straddling.

Instead of straddling why wouldn't the player not look at his cards first and then bet to start the action like straddling would or not bet if he has shit? Is there some strategic gain in the rules he gets by doing it blindly?

You say that only the player to the left of the BB can straddle so is there actually a rule that the next player must look at his cards before betting?
