I allowed 0.5 pips for the 2nd man on the 2 point, and about 0.5 pips for the six point being light compared to the 5, 4, 3 points. That's +1 to the standard 7.5 for smooth bearoff positions.
White's position is exceptionally good, so is probably a bit better than the standard 7.5 pips, by about half a pip again.
So the 52-57 lead is more like 53.5 - 57. Rule 62 says point of last take = (53.5 - 5) / 7 = 6 pips (rounded down). Trailing 6-2=4 pips would be a redouble; trailing 6-3=3 pips is an initial double. White trails by 3.5, so it's a double but not a redouble.
