Hitting gives White eight powerful return shots (42 32 22 21 11), and even if we are not hit back, we've hardly solved all our problems. We have to clean up our blots, and White still has a viable holding game at worst. While we're outboarded 4 points to 2, I think it's too risky to hit. I'd put our spares to good use and make the 2pt, starting to equalize boards.
