1. Hitting twice looks like our best chance of preserving our timing. 12/7*/3*.

2. I don't think we can afford to tear up our board so 20/15 is the 5. As for the 4, 20/16 doesn't look right since White can just ignore us unless it's in her best interests to hit. Compared to 15/11, 7/4 gains on some rolls where White would otherwise clear a checker from her midpoint, and it duplicates White's 3's to hit. White's jokers like 33 31 11 just give her a cash either way so I don't think we lose all that much with the "bold" 7/4. I'll try 20/15 7/4.

3. Looks like 20/11 was played OTB. Blue is considerably behind in the race and most of his equity is shot equity. White still has two gaps in her homeboard and three checkers to bring home. Only 44 31 11 close the 5pt right away. I think Blue can still take, but I'm not sure so I would double as White.
