Berkman has been far in a way the Cardinals best bat so pinch running for him IMHO is very questionable. I personally think using pinch runners is overrated. Again IMHO it is too rare an occasion where putting in a faster runner (and losing a great batter later in the game) when there is a another runner on the base directly ahead of him benefits a team greatly enough to make it worth it. So I disagree with both instances...less so in #2.

#3 is a classic Moneyball type situation. The batter coming to the plate was in the pitchers spot of the line up and they had used all of their bench players already so they had to go with either their best swinging pitcher or their best bunting pitcher. I agreed with the bunt in this situation and I am pretty sure Zeus's cousin would agree. If it was wrong it wasn't wrong by much.
