If the bunt works, they could score two crucial runs on outs

Bunt = 1 out. Sacrifice Fly = 2 outs. Next sacrifice = game over, no run. They can score one run on outs, not two. The idea behind it is of course single = two runs. (or single/sac fly or sac fly/single scenarios also scoring both runners)
