Realize there is more to baserunning than being fast. How good would a pitcher be?

All else being equal, not very good, but then for two players of comparable speed, the difference between a good baserunner and a bad one is minimal.

But this discussion centers around pinch running for Berkman IN THIS SITUATION. It's impossible, you just cannot do it. If the Cardinals tie the game, they are forced to put a pitcher in the field, not to mention live with two pitchers in the lineup. If Larry Liebster is the runner on first, you might pinch run. Of course, 20-year old Liebster might have been fast, I don't know.
