Tough. Given my earlier question about making the bar, 7/6(2) is something the be considered, but after that I don't like the remaining aces and problems to be resolved (either leave the 9 point plot, or stack, or create a new point that is difficult to clear. A factor is that XG got to make a lot of progress toward building a strong board, so a play like 7/5 7/6 9/8 leaves us with too many things to do next (safety blots, make 2 point, place spares in good places. A solid 5-prime may now be useful protection against direct forward progress in some variations.

Also, I don't see making the 9 point as useful (same comments as before).

Having made the bar I think we should use it as a spot to place spares to make the 2 point and to clear the 8. So 9/8 (lift the blot) 8/7 (use the bar) 8/6 (prepare to clear the 8, useful spare on the 6).

So 9/7 8/6 for me. With a great deal of uncertainty as there are many plays that look OK.
