After scratching with 55, missing the strangle, i tried to play better with 33, after reading Stick's midwifery for 55. So i came up with my thoughts, assuming that making the barpoint wasn't the automatic Stick is amused to see. My thoughts for 33 are the same i applied for 11:
"Sokrates told us to make the 3 point. Now we have the can open and the salad dressed. I don't want no topping anymore. And i don't want to play a cocksucking five from the barpoint. I will clear points as soon as possible. I will make transitory points with my homecoming boys, that will be cleared again with reduced risk in the bear in process against a backgame, that could arise to be a contender.
Two threes are automatic: 13/10(2). Mission completed. Midpoint cleared. A transitory point created, which will at least create an indirect shot.
9/6. If i decline to make the shitbox, this blot has no function.
11/8. The 8 point is difficult. A blocking point. But also point which has to be cleared. But it is safer to clear with a made 2 point. So clearing the last blot, creating two spares."
I don't claim to have the right ideas for playing backgames, but it is all about timing. Barcley Cooke said playability. A prime doesn't hurt. It will probably hurt us more in the bear in process.
