The main reason to hold on to the prime would be to wait for the opponent to crunch his board.

Here white will not crunch soon. Of course the 6-prime looks very healthy.

But there is also 7/6(2)9/8 11/10. We might even consider 7/6 7/5 9/8 Making use of white's vulnerable blot on 20, and making the blue position very playable.
