I think we are still doing fine timing-wise and should maximize the playability of our big numbers. Leaving the 9 slotted is not too dangerous, but wouldn't achieve anything either. Closing the 9 would give us bad sixes or bad fives. I like 10/8 9/7 when most rolls slot the 2 while still leaving playable fives and sixes. I like it so much that I am questioning my own sanity when seeing that none of the previous voters chose that play.
