DQR suggestion

Daily Quiz 10/14, Number 1. These kinds of decisions (playing a backgame, getting a multiple shot, cube action?) are not discussed often enough in my opinion. Trice has an excellent chapter about it in Boot Camp but given the importance of such decisions, more expert commentary is welcome.

As a side comment, I'm finding as I go through these problems a second time, that I'm choosing a different play more frequently than I would have expected. For example, in Number 3 here, on my second pass I decided on 13/10 13/7 and figured that 24/18 was a blunder, splitting against White's stacks.
