Make Blue's bar point? Maybe? The safe 7/1 5/1 ruins White's inner board which will be needed the rest of the game. Anything else leaves even more blots or doesn't help White's board. I guess? I imagine that OTB I would do 24/18 22/18 after not being able to find anything really good to do that inner board the bar point is just one of those things that pops out (I guess a lot of us are trained to see these kinds of plays (making valuable points) and so they become better looking regardless of the situation).
