I'd expect it to be easier to complete the closeout after 13/1*. If he misses after 13/1*, you're in great shape, but after switching points, how do you plan to remake the 4 point quickly even if he does fan?

But on the downside...supposing you have to hit loose on the 4 point later on. Then if he enters and hits, you could be in hot water. You fan, he makes the point, what now? But if he enters on the ace now with a hit, even if you fan and he anchors on the ace, he still has plenty of work to do.

Also, if he anchors on the ace his gammon danger remains very high, while if he's on your 4 point instead it's not so bad since he can run from it much earlier and much more safely when the time comes.
