Running would be playing to lose, while still not being safe from being gammoned. Though it is not good news to cough a second blot, I think we have to do so. Between 13/11 and 5/3 I find it difficult to decide myself. 13/11 seems a bit more risky, but with better chances against the straggler on the next turn. Since it is not pure gammon-save, maybe it is worth it.
