I'd pay now with 7/5*/2 because it leaves only an indirect shot and there are quite a few numbers that leave a direct shot or even a double direct shot next turn if we play 6/1. Also the cleanup after 7/5*/2 (assuming we're missed) looks relatively comfortable.

The gap on White's 3pt certainly swings the decision in favor of paying now. Move the gap to the 1pt and I'm not sure I'd pay now.
