All right, I'm going to resume trying these for at least the next week.
1. At DMP I think the natural move is 21/15 18/15(2). I'm not completely sure because Blue is still a bit behind in the race. Still, it looks like the best play to me. There are several other ideas possible—making the 5pt, hanging back hoping to hit White's blot, making the six-away point—but I think the simple plan of trying to get all our checkers around is the most appealing at DMP.
2. It might look a bit scary to take, since Blue has a double shot and a four-point board, and White could expose one or two more blots soon. But White is almost a hundred pips up in the race, Blue might miss, and White has reasonable chances of just scrambling home, with good gammon chances. I take as White. As Blue, if we hit and White enters with 51 41 31 42 32 then she exposes another blot and I think may have to drop. Still, I'm not sure. I'd hold off doubling here unless I thought I was going to get a drop. ND/T.
3. Three points to clear against a well-timed backgame usually indicates D/T. Blue's formation on his 3pt and 1pt is not ideal but I think it's probably still a double. D/T.
