Dmitriy's and David's comments are excellent.

It can help to isolate variables and measure their effects. For example, compare the two positions above. For opening 62 (left), the rollout result is [S R28] <62. For 41T+62, the result is [R S13] "<10. That's a swing of .041 due solely to Blue's midpoint/8pt distribution. Without adjusting further, R has already overtaken S.
