1. I'd consider three candidates: 16/11, 13/9 8/7*, and 9/5 6/5. Though the 5pt is the 5pt, the 9pt is valuable here too and I wouldn't break it to make the 5pt. If White starts kicking two of our blots around, she could quite plausibly win going forwards. I think I like 13/9 8/7*. I'd be more comfortable with it if there were some duplication, but even without duplication I want to fight for the bar point.

2. If this is from the same game then my guess is that 16/11 was played OTB in problem 1. But at least it doesn't say that XG or Stick was playing Blue in problem 1. Anyway, I'm inclined to slot the 5pt now while a bold play is still plausible. 13/11* 8/5.

3. I would normally think that White could take when Blue has only a four-prime and White has no extra blots to be picked up. However, White is quite inflexible with 8 checkers stacked on the 2pt. Her 1's and 4's force her to hit on the 2pt (after she enters), exposing another blot to a direct shot. And White can be gammoned of course. Still, it seems that White has enough wriggle vig to take. In fact, as I look at it more, I'm not sure I want to double. Seems like we'd regret doubling if White escapes or rolls 11 or 22, and White may still be able to take if she enters and exposes another blot. Pretty confusing position for me. D/T I guess.
