1. 8/4(2) looks clear and then my first instinct is 20/16(2), but I tend not to blitz aggressively enough. So probably 13/5 or 13/9(2) is better. I'll try 13/5 aiming to close the 2pt as soon as possible. We should be able to hit loose on the 2pt if White enters there, given our strong board, advanced anchor, and the blot in White's board.

2. Yuck! Naturally, 20/15* is the first thing that leaps to the eye, but then what's the 3? 13/10 is purest but it gives White 2's, 3's, and 6's to hit, and White has the stronger board. 20/15* 6/3 looks uglier but it duplicates 3's. I prefer 20/15* 6/3 to 20/15* 13/10. Are there any alternatives? If we don't play 20/15* then 13/8 is the 5 and then we can choose between 8/5 and 6/3. These plays certainly cut down on White's shots but they give White free rein to improve her position and don't really strengthen our own position much. I don't know what's best here so will follow the maxim, "When in doubt, hit." Hitting at least sends a second White checker back and gives us a chance to equalize. 20/15* 6/3.

3. Normally in a mutual holding game one should not volunteer a shot but the only move that doesn't leave a shot is 8/3 8/2 which gives up the 8pt in order to dump two checkers behind White's anchor. It doesn't help us solve any of our problems so I'd look for something else. Running with 20/9 surely can't be right. We have the weaker board and no race lead; 20/9 just gives White a chance to attack. The plausible candidates are 13/2 and 13/8 13/7. I like 13/8 13/7. White will have to break anchor to hit and if she misses then we're favored to make a five-prime, which will be a great asset.
