Cube action when likely to pound a bunch of blots vs a 42 backgame

Blue threatens to hit a bunch of blots and roll home while White dances.
Yes, that's the threat, exactly. But I'm certainly taking now. Next roll? I hate to pass well-established backgames that have what appears to be decent timing. But I think if you hit two checkers now and I fanned, I'd pass next roll. I'd have two on the bar and two more blots in danger. The structure of the backgame is fine -- 2 points made, fair timing, and a well-formed 7-checker front position that won't be too far advanced as long as I can spring a back checker or two. But this backgame would be a lot better if you had a full prime in front of it. As it is, you only have the 8 and 7 points to clear before you start bearing off. After that you only have the 6 and 5 points to clear that give me a chance at a double shot. I think you'd be close enough to bearing in and off that I'd rate to lose the race to rebuild a home board in time.
So there are market losers for me. I think, though, that if you hit one checker only, or if you do anything at all and I don't fan, I'm going to take next roll.
In sum, I think it's an easy take now. You have at least a few market losers. The take decision may be much more difficult next roll. I wouldn't double now unless I expected a pass. If I were you I'd wait a roll, and give me or another opponent a chance to muff the cube action next roll, and of course reserve your ability to put off the double a while longer -- there must be a lot of sequences after which no way should you be doubling next roll.
