'Beats me boss.' Won’t be surprised if I go 0 for 3 on these today.

1 I’ll try 17/14, 16/14. We link up closer to home while our straggler in his home board is annoying. White has to respect our 5-point board next turn. If he leaves us alone, then next time we can launch our back-man with 5’s and 6’s, advance our outside anchor with doubles and play stall ball with small numbers which can be absorbed in our home board.

2 I have him outboarded and the 4 doesn’t play particularly well so attacking in the inner board is an option. But I only have 8 guys in the offensive zone and they are perfectly placed for now. I don’t like it. So 13/9 is the 4. Keep it going 13/7 is wimpy and not how I like to play. So two down or down and split? I am thinking offense here and will try two down 13/9, 13/11.

3 6/3, 4/3 is certainly tempting. But next turn any combination of 4-5-6 could get ugly. Could it actually be safer to not cover? By stepping up 24/21, 6/5 we put heavy pressure on White to perform next roll. If he dances I’m recubing and if hits me then the game simply continues. I'll go with 24/21, 6/5.
