Before reading this I had also overlooked the shift plays and the all out play of 18/14 12/8, I thought the choice would be between 13/9 18/14 and 13/9 18/16 12/10. 18/14 12/8 is the DMP play, but loses (I think) too many gammons at the score. I went for the builders with 13/9 18/16 12/10, because we get a significant number of additional pointmaking rolls in exchange for little risk (2 additional hits). 44 hits in both cases and is a joker in any case. Close decision.
