I cannot imagine there will be any signficant different save rounding. But if someone has Sconyers data it is worth checking (use the Analyze>>race forumas>>EPC to see the details)
The only assumptions are
To maximize your winning chances gammon is disregarded and vice-versa. The best move is the one that minimize the average number of roll to bear-off (which we know can be wrong when a few checkers are left, which is why XG uses a two-sided DB in these cases) in other words it assumes there is a no positions where the move played to save the gammon is different than the one you'd play to win or does not matter (if you have risk of lossing a gammon you typically as 0.00% chances to win anyway)
