We could make two crossovers, piling up checkers on the high points with 10/6 7/6, or 9/5 7/6, but I'd make just 1 crossover and put a checker on the 4 point.

I think that's best for our slight racing chances. It's true we might hit a shot next roll, but only 6/36 * 6/36 = 1/36 of the time.
