1. We don't have to leave a shot yet and can play comfortably with 7/1 6/3 for this one turn. However, White has no rolls that force her to leave a shot, so our comfort lasts only one turn, and then unless we roll doublets, we will either have to leave a shot or break our board next time. White may then have a stronger board than she does now. If we had a clear lead in the race then maybe we could afford to bury checkers in our home board, but the race is close and wasting pips is costly. White has two blots in her board so if we run now, only 33 and 61 hit and clean up both blots (though with 61 62 63 22, White will probably hit and cover one blot). I think it's worth paying now. 18/9.
2. With only eight Blue checkers in the zone, an even race, four Blue checkers back, and White's checker on Blue's 2pt, I think this must be a clear take even though White has no structure. The double is less clear but I would double since Blue is favorite to hit another blot and should be in pretty good shape even if White anchors. Position and threats, right? D/T.
3. 10/8* is clear. I think bringing another checker into the zone is worth more than hitting on the 2pt. I'm not sure about 13/7 versus 15/9 but with White having two checkers on the bar, we don't have to worry about getting hit back except with 55 or 44, so I'd try 13/7 because it seems more aggressive.
