1. I've tried to visualize how this will likely play out over the next few rolls and it's hard for to judge Blue's chances of escaping. I think Blue will be a pretty big favorite to escape at least one checker from behind White's broken five-prime before cracking, but he has to do so twice. Also White's risk of losing a gammon, while not negligible, isn't big either. I would take. The double is less clear to me but I would double in practice because I might get a drop. Even if this is a big take, it's not obviously a big take (at least not to me).

2. Does the score matter here? I'm going to assume not. If I'm going to leave a shot then I'm going to hit. The other possibility is to weenie out with 5/1. Far behind in the race with an anchor, I think we should try to attack despite White's four-point board. Bar/20 8/4*.

3. The score may matter here too but I'm going to pretend it's a money cube. White has to roll pretty darn well to win this one. I would drop if doubled. Is Blue TG? I'm often too timid about playing on so this might be TG but I would double.
