amazing how well we play when the majority decides

But admittedly (some of) the majority only decides after looking at how other people decided. It's not a majority blind vote. On the easy problems everyone will get it right or if they get it wrong it won't matter because the majority won't get it wrong and on the hard problems I suspect people will listen to the better players and change their votes.
